Michael, Franklin and Trevor are the protagonists of this game. The game starts with Micheal and Trevor robbing a bank. The robbery goes wrong and micheal is killed by the police. Trevor escapes and disappears. Actually micheal was not dead. He made a deal with the FIB to remove all cases on him and to be clean. After that micheal meets Franklin and they get into a trouble. To get out of the trouble they have to rob a jewellery store. From there micheal tells his famous words " you see hundreds of faces everyday, how do you if its one of them". The security of the store tell it to the media news and Trevor sees this. The he realises that micheal is not dead. So he go to find Micheal.
